Digital Graffiti

Digital Graffiti is a projection art festival that takes place every year at Alys Beach in Florida. I was asked to take part in the 2010 festival.

The installation was commissioned for the Caliza Pool area, the main party zone where all the festival-goers gather after viewing the other installations. The projection was shown across three large buildings adjacent to the pool.

I created a colourful and abstract Voronoi diagram animation. The shape of the regions in the diagram change as the points move around. Each region has its own colour, which also changes as it animates. I’ve made the source code freely available on CodePen.
